Renowned Catholic musician Sarah Hart will lead this morning retreat! It will be a peaceful time of stories, prayer, and song. The retreat will be on February 18, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the Woodlands Room.

Sarah’s love for music and ministry intersect in amazing ways. As a spiritandsong.com artist, she travels across the country and around the world. Sarah has a special passion for women’s ministry and Sisters of Christ is just one of the retreats she brings to parishes as a mission.
Her lively, contemporary blending of folk, pop and rock welcomes and delights listeners from every age and background. She performs at such events as the National Catholic Youth Conference, Los Angeles Religious Education Congress and World Youth Day. Sarah also shares her music at many churches and colleges, along with small venues such The Bitter End and The Bluebird Café.

Our Parish Bookkeeper, Liz Sullivan, will soon be leaving us to care for her ailing mother. We are deeply grateful for her many years of dedicated service and pray that she will receive many blessings in this next stage of her journey.
DUTIES: This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Some evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand. The Parish Accountant is responsible for managing accounts receivables/payables, payroll, and benefits. This position monitors the budget, assists with budget preparation, prepares financial reports, and assists with preparation for audits. Personnel matters, contracts and facility usage are additional responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Finance preferred. Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible business/accounting experience required. Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Advanced skills in MS Office including Excel required. Must have experience with general ledger accounting and audits. Experience with ParishSoft Connect Now Accounting and CHRIS are preferred.
Our Knights of Columbua have faithfully provided the effort behind out Sunday Hospitality gatherings for many years and are now "retiring".
