Homeless Shelters Need our Help!

The Montgomery County shelter system is under tremendous strain, with a rapid increase in unhoused residents, including influxes of people from nearby areas seeking safety.  The shelter system is beyond capacity and support is needed ASAP.

 

If you would like to provide support, here are some high-need options that could be put to immediate use:

 

In-Kind Donations:

Items can be delivered at 8106 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20901.

Donation hours are weekends from 11:30-4:30pm and Monday-Friday from 8:30-11am and 1:30-4:30pm.

• Adult backpacks
• Camping backpacks
• Army blankets
