Ever wondered why the month of October is dedicated to Mary and the Holy Rosary?
October 7th is the feast day of
Our Lady of the Rosary. It was intially named the feast of Our Lady of Victory. Our Lady of Victory was named in 1571 after a Christian military victory in the
Battle of Lepanto. In 1573, this feast day was renamed Our Lady of the Rosary by Pope Gregory XIII. October 7, 1716 was the first time Our Lady of the Rosary was celebrated as a feast of the universal Church.
Family Rosary will be prayed every Tuesday at 6:30 PM at the Mary Statue in the front of the the Church during the month of October rain or shine.
The Hispanic Community prays the Rosary at 11:30 AM every Sunday in the Church before the 12 noon Mass
Public Square Rosary 2020 -will be held on October 10 at 12 Noon in front of the Woodlands Room. The Public Square Rosary, will be one of over 20,000 rallies that will take place across the US at that time. Join us in this public commemoration of Our Lady’s apparitions at Fatima and as we pray for our nation.
