We all need to understand that things will not immediately “go back to normal" within Archdiocese of Washington when Mass resumes.
In anticipation of the resumption of Mass, Bishop Wilton Gregory issued the following video and pamphlets (see below) regarding the transition to reopening the Churches in the Archdiocese of Washington.
PLEASE NOTE this is a general message for the people of the Archdiocese. The information is NOT an announcement regarding the opening of Masses here at St. Rose, YET.
County Executive Marc Elrich has also extended the stay at home order for Montgomery County due to the increase of COVID-19 infections in the county. At this time, Fr. Mateo, the clergy or Staff have NOT been informed of a reopening date. The St. Rose website will be updated as well as a FlockNote sent to all parishioners when a date has been determined.
The dispensation from attending Mass on Sunday continues to be in effect.
